This unit deals with the psychosocial aspect of leprosy patients as well as HIV infected individuals. Currently, this unit is undertaking studies on psychosocial aspects of commercial sex workers specially belonging to Beria tribe as well as their clients. The special focus is on prevention of HIV transmission in this high-risk group.

This unit has one Assistant Director, one medico social worker and other project staff.
