Central Facilities >> For Leprosy

The Institute provides all medical and surgical treatment free of cost to leprosy cases who come from U.P., adjoining States as well as other parts of the country. All these services are provided by highly experienced clinicians and other specialized staff. While the clinical wing has two medical units, a Reconstructive Surgery Unit, it has other supportive facilities like Physiotherapy, Clinical Pathology, X-Ray and EMG lab. There is an indoor inpatient ward for cases having complications , those requiring surgery and also supervised treatment. Less than 5% of the cases require admission. All others are given outdoor treatment. Besides handling of leprosy cases in the OPD, the Institution is providing all treatment facilities to a large number of patients in Agra and Kanpur districts.
